In just one month, SotaTek JSC, a global IT Services & Consulting company specializing in Software Development, Blockchain, AI, and Big Data solutions, successfully deployed and operated its Sotabox platform using VNG Cloud's robust cloud infrastructure. This strategic collaboration has significantly shortened product development timelines, considerably reduced DevOps costs, and effectively supported SotaTek’s expanding domestic market, where AI cloud infrastructure is immature.
The Challenge: Rapid and Reliable Deployment
As SotaTek expanded its services and scaled up its operational capabilities, it faced a critical need to quickly deploy a reliable and cost-efficient DevOps platform - Sotabox - on cloud infrastructure. At the start of 2025, SotaTek sought a local cloud service provider with proven technical expertise, reliable infrastructure, and the capability to closely support its internal technical team during the deployment. A key requirement was ensuring complete system stability within one month to prevent any disruption to scheduled product launches.
Moreover, SotaTek expected flexible, efficient PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) solutions to reduce the workload on its DevOps team and accelerate the development cycle. Continuous and in-depth technical support from the cloud provider was essential to facilitate a smooth transition and operation.
After a thorough evaluation of local cloud service providers, SotaTek confidently chose VNG Cloud as its strategic partner. Both parties are also collaborating on an LLM interface and AI stack to help Vietnamese enterprises access optimal solutions for internal DC with the lowest TCO.

Implementation Process with VNG Cloud
The deployment of Sotabox on VNG Cloud took place within a carefully planned month, from February 15 to March 15, 2025, structured into three distinct phases to ensure timely completion, stability, and future scalability.
- Phase 1: Core Infrastructure Deployment: Initial implementation involved setting up cloud infrastructure and configuring core services such as vServer, vStorage, vLB, vDB (Redis, PostgreSQL), Kafka, and specialized PaaS solutions like vMonitor and VKS. Throughout this phase, VNG Cloud provided continuous technical support to ensure seamless installation, integration, and testing processes.
- Phase 2: End-user Deployment: Once the core system had achieved stable operation, SotaTek proceeded to roll out features for end-users. The cloud infrastructure met stringent performance, security, and scalability requirements, allowing businesses leveraging Sotabox to operate smoothly without interruptions.
- Phase 3: Dataiku Integration Testing: Beyond Sotabox, SotaTek and VNG Cloud initiated testing the integration of Dataiku, an AI/ML analytics platform, demonstrating the infrastructure's flexibility and readiness to support extensive data analytics projects.
